Tray Favors
The Council for Older Adults of Delaware County delivers tray favors with their Meals-on-Wheels program. These simple tokens of friendship and love provide a bright moment for older adults who can not get out on a regular basis.
The sky is the limit with the types of tray favors you can make; however, there are a few restrictions to keep in mind. Napkin rings or place-mats are not allowed. Additionally, all candy must be in it's original wrapper (example - Hersey kisses are fine, M&M's in a large bag divided into containers by troop is not).
A few successful items provided in the past include: Candy - Regular & Sugar Free (Wrapped), Small Decorated Note Pads with Pens, Small Magnetic Picture Frames, Small Calendars, Small Seasonal Craft Projects, Laminated Book Marks, Christmas Ornaments, Note Cards with Stamps, Seasonal Cards, Door Hangers for the Holidays, Flower Pens, Holiday Pens, Crossword Puzzle Books, & Word Search Books
You can give tray favors to Tamara Ensign at any Service Unit meeting. Please create at least 75 of whatever you choose to do.
